The Rions 'Going Live' Tour at Barwon Club Hotel (South Geelong, VIC) on Saturday, 13 August 2022

BREAKING: It’s the good news story of 2022 so far, Sydney’s The Rions have assembled to announce their first ever headline tour this August/September.

It’s been a huge 12 months for the four best friends from Avalon after winning triple j Unearthed High and taking out #51 in the Hottest 100 of 2021 in January. More recently they’ve been honing their live show, touring with heavyweights Lime Cordiale, The Terry’s and Pacific Avenue.

In what’s tipped to be an exuberant celebration of the post-lockdown era, the ‘Going Live’ tour will hit the East Coast of Australia with shows in Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Wollongong, Gold Coast, Brisbane and a hometown return to Avalon. Joining them around the grounds will be The Velvet Club (excl Syd) and The Good Love (Syd only), along with a cast of local heroes as voted by fans (watch this space).

With high school a thing of the past, The Rions are ready to treat audiences to recent singles ‘Disassociation’, ‘Night Light’ and ‘Sadie’ as well as some unreleased fan favourites and new tunes.

Their headline shows to date have all sold out in advance, so you’re best to switch on and snap up tickets quick smart.
