Get ready for an absolute Massive night of Mayhem at The Barwon Club , with a legendary local lineup feturing Le Bongè, G-String Nicotine, The Rorts + DJs Shame-Bro & Chunky Love on Saturday 11th July, 2026 from 7:30pm.
Crawling out of Melbourne’s Inner North Le Bongè are the outcome of decades of bad ideas, blown speakers and friendships held together with beer foam and electrical tape. Described as Punk Rock with a split lip, these fellas are raw in performance but polished in banter, they are volume, sweat and the faint smell of fried brain cells.
Having recently recorded at Wrangler Studios and on the Bodyjar support train for their ‘How it Still Works’ tour they are ready to lift the lid!
G-String Nicotine are the new all-conquering femmes fatales of the G-Troit punk scene. These ladies are known for their raw, high energy sound and sharp cutting lyrics. Bringing riot grrrl back with their chaotic performance and stage presence.
The Rorts are a 3 piece, no bullshit, Rock’n’roll band from Geelong and the Surf Coast. Reincarnated from the infamous Geelong music scene of the 90’s as the onetime lineup of “Thee Vinyl Creatures.” Picking up the pieces from that era to bring a fresh take on high energy, dynamic, melodic and harmonic indie-rock hooks.
DJs Shame-Bro & Chunky Love are the Brothers Crowe together for the first time to deliver all your favourite rock & roll jingles off the wheels of steel! Dragged up in the hard streets of the 3219, these brothers are made for your late night Pig Pen Disco.
