LASH78 - Live at The Barwon Club
LASH78 return to The Barwon Club for a huge hometown headline show on Friday 5th June, 2026 joined by rising local stars Windrush and Will Gibb to kickstart the Kings Birthday Long Weekend!
Melbourne sister duo LASH78 delivers high-energy pop-rock built for big stages and loud crowds. Blending punchy pop hooks with rock grit, the band draws from influences like AC/DC, Paramore and The Veronicas, carving out a sound that’s both nostalgic and current.
After a year spent locked in the studio writing and recording their upcoming EP alongside a growing catalogue of new music, this will be the first chance to hear unreleased tracks live.
With years on the road behind them, LASH78 have become known for electric live sets across Australia’s coastal and regional festival circuits, including Queenscliff, Apollo Bay, Tamworth and Airlie Beach.
Their resume includes support slots for Darryl Braithwaite, Shannon Noll, Thirsty Merc and Mahalia Barnes, a testament to their versatility and crowd-pulling appeal.
Joining on the night are local up & comers Windrush, a Geelong based blues, rock, psychedelic band, with young talent looking to pay homage to the sounds of old and create new sounds of the future.
This 6 piece band has slowly been put together to form a strong connection between talents. With inspirations from the British blues of the 60s, to the American blues legends of the 40s and 50s to Prog psychedelia, Windrush combine to generate an energetic & soulful sound.
Will Gibb is a 20-year-old old soul capturing his own idea of music-honest, warm and shaped by the coastline he grew up on. The singer-songwriter and musician from Torquay blends heartfelt storytelling with the intimacy of folk and the raw edge of roots rock with tracks from his debut EP showing a hint of what’s to come from the talented local.
