Nibbs Fest : Celebrating Neale's 50th
Step Mother, Lothario, Digger & The Pussycats + Bagful of Beez
Barwon Club Hotel (South Geelong, VIC)
Saturday, 28 February 2026 7:00 pm
Nibbs Fest will be an epic night celebrating Neale (Nibbsy) Cox’s 50th - part of the RiverRocks team continually bringing you quality rock and roll for close to two decades! Get along to The BC Bandroom to celebrate with four awesome bands, Saturday 28th February 2026 from 7pm
Featuring a handpicked line up including Step Mother, Lothario, Digger & The Pussycats + Bagful of Beez, Get down & celebrate the great man's milestone birthday event in style.
Melbourne's Digger & The Pussycats, having built a reputation both locally and internationally as a unique live performance combine a myriad of musical styles ranging from 60's garage-punk right through to blues and party rock and roll.
Stepmother is an Australian power trio fronted by Graham Clise (Annihilation Time, Lecherous Gaze, Rot TV, Witch). With Equal parts motor city proto punk and feedback drenched fuzz on the darker side of psychedelia, Stepmother plays anthems for the poor depraved sickos and rock n roll miscreants.
Lothario is the visceral, razor-edged solo project of Melbourne's Annaliese Redlich, who creates punk anthems for the bored and reckless.
Bagful of Beez have been on hiatus for the last couple of years after singer/songwriter/guitarist, Link, cracked the shits with the stripped down lineup's backing tracks fucking up all the time. After two years of silence Bagful of Beez have reformed as a full band with their second L.P ready for release in the not too distant future.
Along with band mates Meghan Maike (M.Maike and the Cactus flowers) on keys and some lead vox/songwriting, Matt Cotter (Even) on drums and Chip Wardale (Snapshot) on bass/b.vox, Link will bring their unique blend of warped garage psych pop to the live stage. And there will be no backing tracks FFS.
This will definitely be one not to be missed!
