Astrid Armstrong Duo - Free entry!

Round out your weekend at The Barwon Club Hotel, 4:00pm - 6:30pm Sunday 28 April with the Astrid Armstrong Duo, playing two free classic sets, designed to ease you back into your working week.

Featuring 16 year-old vocalist and Geelong College student Astrid, supported by well-known Geelong musician Oscar Rose, the Duo play classic soul, RnB and blues, with a side order of Yacht Rock. Formed in January 2024, Astrid Armstrong Duo played their first gig over summer at the Point  Lonsdale Surf Livesaving Club (PLSLSC).

“I’ve been singing all my life”, says Astrid. “Everything comes together when I’m up on stage. And I’m blessed to be working with Oscar. He’s super supportive of me as an up-and-coming artist”.

A graduate of High Voltage Rock School, Wayne Jury’s Blues Boot Camp, Melbourne Blues  Appreciation Society (MBAS) Youth in Blues and MBAS Women in Blues (the youngest ever participant), Astrid continued to hone her craft, with vocal coaching from Stellar Perry.
